Completed two internship semesters with CNN Audio, first as a full-time, in-person Audio Operations and Marketing Intern in New York City. Invited back to continue remotely while attending school in Boston as a part-time Podcast Operations and Promotions Intern.

During my internship, I supported the growth, distribution, and promotion of CNN’s podcast portfolio across owned platforms and third-party partners. On a daily basis, I tracked performance across major streaming platforms, analyzed chart movement and listener data through Megaphone, and monitored feature placements on partner apps including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music, and SiriusXM. I regularly pitched CNN Audio content to platform partners, ensured shows received strong in-app placements, and maintained detailed catalogues and reports to measure impact. I also supported show launches, episode scheduling, swap partnerships, and promo trafficking, while collaborating closely with audio operations, marketing, editorial, and design teams to align strategy and execution.

A key accomplishment of my internship was spearheading seasonal promotional campaigns for CNN Audio. I led the writing, producing, voicing, and voting of promotional materials that aired across CNN’s audio network, helping drive discovery and engagement for priority shows. In addition to network promos, I developed and pitched cross-promotion strategies, researched podcast swaps, contributed to partner pitch decks, and helped optimize app placements and feature opportunities. I also played a role in refining internal workflows—creating templates, visualizing performance data, organizing launch materials, and helping shape long-term promotional strategy through competitive and subscription-model research. Through these efforts, I took ownership of projects from concept through execution and made a tangible contribution to how CNN Podcasts content is marketed, distributed, and discovered.
